Brown glass bottle 50 ml with spray head

Material information medicine bottle

Glass

Glass is a highly versatile material. It is manufactured by melting natural or nature-identical inorganic materials (including quartz sand, soda, lime, feldspar, and potash) at temperatures ranging from 1,400 °C to 1,650 °C. Glass can be molded into any shape at temperatures around 1,000 °C and retains its shape even after cooling.

As a packaging material, glass offers the following advantages: it is chemically stable, physiologically safe, and does not interact with the filling material. Almost all substances (except hydrofluoric acid) can be packaged/filled in it. Glass is 100% recyclable and can be remelted as often as required. Thanks to its smooth surface, glass is directly printable.

Containers and technical parts are made from it. It is physiologically safe, making it very popular for packaging food and cosmetics, among other things.
