Using the Christmas Spice Spray

 

The spice spray is the ideal addition to Christmas dishes and drinks, adding warmth, sweetness and a touch of exoticism. Versatile, it goes perfectly with the most diverse tastes of the holiday season.

Whether you are refining classic roasts and cookies or adding a special touch to your vegan and exotic creations - the organic hydrosol is suitable for every occasion. 🌱🍴

Simply spray over food or drinks and in just a few seconds your meal will receive an aromatic spice kick.

Here are some ideas for breakfast, lunch/dinner and drinks:

  1. Winter salad with oranges and walnuts – the herbal water provides a refreshing note in the dressing.
  2. Roasted potatoes with rosemary – sprayed for the perfect herbal flavor.
  3. Hot herbal lemonade – simply spray into hot water and sweeten with honey.

Production of Christmas spice spray (hydrolat)

  • Add 1 litre of water to the mixing bowl of the Thermomix © Monsieur Cuisine © and Bosch Cookit ©
  • Add 100 g of fresh or dried orange peel to the pot
  • Add 2/3 cinnamon bark, 1 vanilla pod and 5/6 cloves.
  • Mix the composition according to your own taste and desire. You can decide how much vanilla, cloves, cinnamon you want and how much orange flavor you want.
  • Place the lid on the still and start as described in the instructions for use.
  • In the respective machine (e.g. Thermomix © the time to 45 min., the temperature to Varoma © and set the speed to level 1)

After 10-15 minutes, the spice hydrosol drips into the collecting vessel.

Fill a spray bottle and off you go! Give your festive meal that little extra something and make your holidays unforgettable!

A notice:

 

* The spray bottle should be shaken vigorously before use so that the oils mix with the water.

* Hydrosols should always be stored in a cool and dark place.
