Mosquito spray – homemade, in an environmentally friendly way
By Matthias Schempf
In summer they are on the move again: wasps, horseflies and mosquitoes that buzz around us and disturb the coziness of being outdoors. But fortunately there is a natural and environmentally friendly way to protect yourself against these little pests: essential oils. With natural oils such as lavender, lemon balm and roses you can easily make a DIY mosquito spray.
This way we can keep the insects away without having to resort to chemicals. After all, all insects are valuable for our ecosystem. So let's treat ourselves to a summer treat without annoying troublemakers and rely on the power of nature... and chilled also has a slightly cooling effect

Caution: For small children, test the spray on the skin before use by applying a small amount to see if there is a possible allergy. For babies, you can also spray a little of the spray onto a cloth and place it near the bed to keep insects away.
