Production of Rose & Lavender Distillate
- Add 1 liter of water to the Thermomix ® mixing bowl
- Fill the steamer with 100 g / ¾ of the dried or fresh rose petals and lavender. Mix the composition of lavender and rose petals according to your own taste and preference. You can decide how much rose petals you want and how much lavender you want. It is important that the insert is well filled but loose to ensure that the steam can flow well through the leaves and that the essential oils can be optimally extracted.
- Put the lid on the still and start the still as described in the instructions
- In the Thermomix ® the time to 45 min., the temperature to Varoma ® and set the speed to level 1
After 10-15 minutes, the hydrosol drips into the collecting vessel.
A notice:
- Important to note with dried botanicals: moisten them slightly and fill the cooking basket max. ¾
-The spray bottle should be shaken vigorously before use so that the oils mix well with the water.
-Since the scent of the essential oils evaporates, you should spray yourself with the body spray more often.
-Hydrolats should always be stored in a cool and dark place.
